AMD-powered Bare Metal Servers Launched by HC
HostColor sent a news release to the technology media announcing a new range of bare-metal servers which powered by AMD processors. The server configurations feature AMD Ryzen and AMD EPYC processors, high-speed NMVe SSD-based storage, and a 30,000 GB (30 TB) data transfer quota on a 10-gigabit network connection.
The entry-level server plan of the AMD Dedicated Servers offers an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. The processor has a base clock speed of 3.4 GHz and a max boost clock of up to 4.9 GHz. Each server comes with 128 GB RAM, two (2x) 1TB NMVe storage drives, and 30 TB Data Transfer on 10 Gbps internet bandwidth ports.
These AMD-based server plans are available in Ashburn, VA; Bend, OR; Charlotte, NC; New York, NY, and Dallas, TX. You can configure a Ryzen or an EPYC-powered Dedicated Server on demand with any operating system or specific virtualization technology to create cloud-based application environments that can be used for single-tenant or multi-tenant private or public dedicated clouds.
Semi-Managed AMD Servers
As all other US Dedicated Servers and dedicated hosting plans delivered from non-Us data centers provided by HostColor.com, including the AMD-based servers, are Semi-Managed. Their administrators install and configure the servers to your custom bare-metal or cloud-based technology environment, reinstall the operating system per request, and help server owners troubleshoot any operating system, networking, or software configuration issues.
Cloud-ready Bare-Metal Servers
HostColor's servers are provisioned with 1 Gbps, 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, and 30 Gbps ports and offer bandwidth quotas ranging from 1 Gbps to 30 Gbps. These servers can be configured to deliver public cloud services or as Dedicated Private Clouds (DCIaaS). DCIaaS is a customizable, isolated, and secure on-demand IT infrastructure solution created with Proxmox VE, Linux Containers (LCX), Kubernetes container orchestration, or VMware ESXi virtualization technologies. All DCIaaS plans feature WireGuard VPN technology and dedicated high-bandwidth internet connectivity.
