1-gigabit Unmetered Dedicated Private Clouds Added To HostColor Services
Cloud IaaS provider HostColor.com (HC) announced new Dedicated Private Clouds (also called Dedicated Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-service, abbreviated DCIaaS) and VPN solutions based on a 1-gigabit unmetered internet connection. The DCIaaS services and the virtual private networks (VPN) solutions are hosted on stand-alone or clustered 1 Gbps-connected Bare-Metal Dedicated Server Cloud configurations. The DCIaaS plans feature WireGuard VPN technology and a full 1-gigabit internet connection.
WireGuard is a cross-platform software solution used to implement encrypted virtual private networks (VPNs). It is considered by the IT security industry experts as "one of the most secure, easiest-to-use, and simplest VPN solutions". HC uses WireGuard to apply custom security policies of its DCIaaS clients to their Dedicated Private Cloud environments.
"HostColor's Dedicated Private Clouds (DCIaaS) are fully-customizable, completely isolated, and secure IT infrastructure solutions, created with Proxmox VE, Linux Containers (LCX), Kubernetes container orchestration, or VMware ESXi virtualization technologies," said HostColor's CEO Dimitar Avramov in the company's official news release. He adds that the company now offers DCIaaS in 50 data centers worldwide - 19 in the U.S., 3 in Canada, 1 in the UK, 12 in Europe, and 5 in Asia, with Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo.
The unmetered 1 Gbps DCIaaS connectivity and the custom WireGuard-based VPN configurations are additions to the Dedicated Cloud services announced by HostColor.com in August 2022.
